Travelling by car
The castle can be found 7 miles east of Maidstone, Junction 8 of the M20 motorway. The castle is clearly sign posted from all routes with the brown tourist signs; however you will see additional signs provided by the AA in yellow. The main castle entrance is Penfold Hill, just off the Ashford Road (A20). There are several entrances to the castle. If you are using SatNav for directions please use the following address:

For disabled badge holders only, please park in the Broomfield Road entrance as show on the map.
Traveling by train
Southeastern trains run frequent services to and from Hollingbourne and Bearsted Station which are both only a few miles away. Please check their website for further details www.southeasternrailway.co.uk
