An event not to be missed…
The team behind Heritage Events has a wide ranging breadth of experience in the events industry in Kent and further afield. We have put on a large number of events ranging from concerts to car shows, fireworks to food festivals. Now in its 39th year, the concert is a highlight of the summer season and is set against the stunning backdrop of Leeds Castle, reputed to be the loveliest castle in the world. Our aim is to deliver unique and special experiences for our customers that become a feature of the event calendar and a favourite in everyone’s diary. We are privileged to be able to hold our events in wonderful venues such as Leeds Castle and our aim is to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
A concert goer from Ramsgate posted on Trip Advisor:
“My husband and I managed to get concert tickets for Leeds Castle at short notice. We had a fantastic time, the concert was brilliant; it was like one big party at the end everyone was singing Jerusalem and all the famous British songs. The spitfire displays were amazing and the finale firework displays just finished an amazing night we will make sure we attend next years classical concert. Don’t forget to take a picnic with you and fold up chairs. FANTASTIC.“
Another returning visitor commented:
“I have been coming to the Leeds Castle Concert for 15 years. Its a very special day and brings out the best of everything British.”
Our Headline Sponsor for 2017
We were thrilled to have Brachers as the sponsors of this year’s event.
Brachers is an award-winning law firm offering a wide range of legal services for business, organisations and private clients across Kent and the South East. The firm has been established in Kent for over 100 years.
Joanna Worby, Managing Partner at Brachers, said:
“We are delighted to be the headline sponsor of this year’s Leeds Castle Classical Concert. Brachers has a rich heritage in the county and
the event is a perfect fit for us, especially given our corporate partnership with Visit Kent to help enhance the tourism industry.
Knowing the event brings an incredible community together, it’s fantastic to be involved and we look forward to celebrating the evening.”
Our chosen charity for 2017
This year our chosen charity was the Royal Air Forces Association (RAFA).
Whether it’s an injured airman fighting to get back on their feet or the widow of a WWII veteran needs a shoulder to lean on, the RAF Association is there when a family needs support to stay strong and connected despite the separation that comes with RAF service.
They brought their 1/2 scale Spitfire to the event. Built by members of the RAF Association’s Christchurch Branch in 2008. The model is styled as a Supermarine Spitfire Mk1 from No.19 Squadron. The Spitfire had been on tour since 2008 and has now been refurbished. There was a great photo opportunity for ‘little ones’ to sit in the cockpit and feel like a real WWII pilot!
